Description NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX... This old Chypre de Coty Art Deco bottle is full of the parfum, perfume. Chypre was introduced in 1917 and this particular bottle was purchased by my Uncle Harlan in 1945 to bring back from World War II for his new bride, Gladys. They married just before he left for the war. She saved it all this time never opening it. She told me in December, "I've saved it unopened all these year, so I should'nt open it now." She asked me to sell it for her. They are now 83 and 87 and still very much in love.I do not speak French, so took a photo of the description on the back of the box. Now does it say Eau de toilette. The glass portion of the bottle measures 2 3/4" tall x 2" wide and the center part of the bottle is 1/2" deep. The box is 5" x 3". Judging by the perfume bottle I have, it must contain at least 1oz. It comes in its fitted cardboard box.The bottle is in MINTcondition and the original box is near mint....with a small amount of shelf wear. It has never sat out, so has no fading. I'm just a sentimental fool, so added a couple of photos
