This is for a superb old Edwardian leather cigar case with a sterling silver mounted rim. There is an interesting engraving on the silver that reads 'H.M. Beausire' on one side and 'Ashfield Hall - Neston' on the other. The silver carries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks for London 1903 along with the makers mark GHJ for George Henry James. The leather is embossed in gold on the inner sleeve with the retailers John Bagshaw in Liverpool and the case is in excellent condition with no dings or dents to the silver, and only the very light wear to the leather you see in the pics. It measures 145mm (5.75") tall and is 85mm (3.3") wide.
