Year of issue is 1924 - Butterflies & Moths - UK issue. Issued by: R. J. Lea Ltd, Manchester. Complete set consists of 12 only. Mediuml horizontal size with name and habitat listed verso. The set features: Purple Emperor, Swallow Tail, Common Tiger Moth, Camberwell Beauty, Catocala Electa, Tau Emperor Moth, Painted Lady, Clifden Nonpareil, Red Admiral,Peacock Butterfly, Limenitis Populi and Kentish Glory. Beautiful condition with no damage or age toning. Clean sharp corners and edges with minimal fraying, if any at all.
