Cigarette Flannel Quilt - 1914 80.5" x 62.5" Check out this really neat collection quilt that is dated 1914 in the center. T are many schools and countries which I will try to list. Schools: Princeton, Missouri, Cornell, California, Chicago, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Wisconsin, Georgetown, Columbia, University Of Illinois and Ohio State University. Countries: Great Britain, Columbia, Greece, France, Persia, Roumania, Spain, Holland, Canada, Scotland, Belgium, Sweden, Mexico, Nigaragua, Norway, Germany and Argentina. T are a number with an American Indian design. T are four with the Anheuser Busch design. T are repeats so t may be as many as four or five of a design or t may only be one. I counted a total of 108 patches. The average size is about 4" x 6" with some smaller and some larger. The design has faded on some but overall it looks great for being almost 100 years old. It does have a very few stains and t is a musty smell. T are not any rips or tears that I could see. The back is covered in the same material as the edge.
