Billet Aluminum Skateboard
Deck This is a Billet Aluminum Longboard deck (made from a solid plate of aluminum). I am selling the DECK ONLY! No trucks or wheels are included in this sale. This billet down hill "SCREAMER" deck is the alternative to the everyday wooden boards that everyone else has. I CNC machined this deck out of solid 1/2" plate of 6061-T6 aluminum. It has a brushed finish on the surfaces that were not machined. The board is 38.5 inches long and weighs about 7 lbs with out wheels or trucks. It has a wheel base of 33 inches, and deck width of 9 inches. It has some flex to it, but with 160 lbs jumping on it, it will only flex maybe half way to the ground. I don't think you will need to put grip tape one it, I've machined it such that the edges of the metal will grip your shoes pretty well. But if you feel you need grip tape you are welcome to put it on yourself. I am a CNC machinist at Kirkham Motorsports and if you peek at their website you can see some killer cars and get a feel for what I do every day. I have a love for longboarding, and making things that are way cool. Everyone who sees these billet longboards, even those who don't longboard, think they are really nice. (Kirkham Motorsports is NOT involved in the sale, manufacture, or design of this board--I did it all myself on my own time.)
