INTRODUCTION: When Emanuel Ciner first created his jewelry company in 1892, his jewelry was created out of precious gems and metals. And, even when transitioning into costume jewelry in the 1930s, Emanuel Ciner continued to create jewelry from only the finest materials such as Swarovski crystals and special glass pearls from Japan. His pieces are usually plated with precious metals and crafted by hand, giving them that HAUTE COUTURE finesse that those of us who love high end costume jewelry so adore!ITEM DESCRIPTION: These earrings are certainly among some of his most stunning designs! The center stone is a dazzling cabochon glass sapphire of the most exquisite deep blue hue. Framing this magnificent gem are sparkling, prong-set simulated diamonds made from 100% Genuine Swarovski crystals. All of the jewels are set in 18K Gold Plated pewter. If you collect jewelry by more contemporary designers such as Kenneth Jay Lane and Nolan Miller, you will notice immediately the vast influence that Ciner's jewelry has had on other designers. Ciner's impeccable quality and trademark use of the finest materials is a tradition that many designers have been inspired by and done their best to match! However, there is only one Ciner. Measurements on these earrings are approx. 1 3/4 inches in length and approx. 1 1/4 inches in width. These are a statement piece and will turn even the most basic of dresses or suits into a high fashion runway look! These earrings are CLIP-backs and signed Ciner on the back of each clip.
