Up for auction are two great early volumes on American Government circa 1840's
They are :
The True American by - Joseph Coe Published by , I. S. Boyd, Concord, N.H. 1840. Leather Bound. Book Condition: Good.. 1st Edition. 12mo - over 6 - 7" tall.
Book shows moderate foxing else in good condition.
Contents include : PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES, FROM 1789 TO 1839, THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, AND CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, WITH THE SIGNERS' NAMES; ALSO THE FAREWELL ADDRESSES OF WASHINGTON AND JACKSON; AN ADDRESS TO THE YOUNG MEN OF THE COUNTRY, AND A VARIETY OF OTHER MATTER USEFUL AND ENTERTAINING.
