Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Stoneware Decorated 1/2 Gallon Pitcher Coming to you from Doc's Crocks, America's Source for Antique Stoneware , is this wonderful Decorated Stoneware 1/2 Gallon Pitcher made in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Area. Circa 1860, this beauty features Top to Bottom Freehand Decoration! Cobalt swags grace both sides of the spout, a leaf each side of the rim, a double floral the front and two more leaves in the back. Cobalt accents at the handle terminals as well. Measures 8 3/4 tall. Excellent Condition . A 1/4" flake on the outside of the rim by the handle and a 1/4" chip on the base in the back. No inner or front rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs. A kiln touch to the tip of the right flower in the making. Please view the full gallery of pictures as part of the description.
