view my other auctions below: visit my entire auction showcase You are bidding on a Beautiful Quadruple plate, two handled, Covered Butter/Caviar Dish with attached knife rack and knife.This fine example of silversmith's workmanship of the late 1800's is elegantly decorated with floral etchings and has a band of diamond garland around the edge of the plate and on the bottom. The dish has arms that extend from the side of the dish on which the knife rests.The dish is marked:S.F. Myers and CoThe (two atlas globes) GlobeQuadruple Plate513The knife is marked: Wm A. RogersWe apologize for the darkness of the photos, it is very shiny and I set the filter too heavy.The dish measures 8 1/8 inches from handle to handle and stands 7 1/2 inches tall. The knife is 7 1/2 inches long.This lovely item is being sold as part of an estate sale.
