c. 1900's Rare Porcelain Johnson Bros. Plate Handpainted Victorian Lady Original Circa 1900's Rare Johnson Bros. Plate in excellent condition for it's age. One does not see a plate like this all the time. Please be patient as large pictures download, thanks! This scalloped plate is trimmed in 22K Gold depicting a handpainted Victorian Lady. The pearl necklace and the scarf are raised above the glazing. This is the prettiest Johnson Bros. Plate I have ever seen. In real life her eyes are truly mesmerizing. On the back is the old Logo in Green, Johnson Bros and England. Plate measures 9 inches in diameter. Below shows a closeup of the raised pearls: The plate has normal crazing as it's about 100 years old, no chips or cracks. On the back are 3 indentations (plate could have been designed that way).
