PAYPAL ONLY!!! CIRCA 1925 IMPERIAL STRETCH CARNIVAL GLASS BOWL VHTF VARIATION! AMETHYST GLASS W/RARE DOUBLE I MARK!EXCELLENT NO RESERVE!!You are bidding on a Antique Imperial 6 3/4" Glass Bowl Circa 1925. It is amethyst Colored Stretch glass with a Beautiful Carnival Iridescence that is either in Peacock, or Azur, the color is very similar in both, and I really can't tell the difference, It's Gorgeous anyway! Bowl is in excellent condition, No chips, cracks, or flakes. It's a very old Bowl, and the inside shows crazing in the carnival Iridescence with is very odd. The crazing actually changed the color in a few spots, Very unusual! The outside of bowl is fine and this is no crazing like inside. It actually shows it's age beautify. It is very Rare To Find Any Signed Imperial Carnival Glass with the Double I Mark which is 2- I's crossed together, or any other mark in that case, They used this particular mark of very few pieces Starting in 1920. This is a Very Rare Piece a Stretch glass in Carnival Iridescence, Most of these piece are one of a kind, The Glass maker would start bowl in mold, and then It was stretched, pinched, and folded, and Iridescence was applied, Then the bases rim was ground a polished. Bowl is 6 3/4" in Diameter and stands 3" tall, and is very heavy and thick glass. The piece is absolutely Stunning, You can see the stretch glass through iridescence toward top of bowl. I Highly Doubt you will find this exact piece in a book but you will find out that it is a Rare Variation and it's also very rare to find Carnival glass signed by IMPERIAL! It looks Gorgeous on Outside and the crazing on Inside adds that touch of vintage glass, Like the Patina on Bronze, the ageing is beautiful! SEE PICTURES THEY SAY IT ALL!!!
