Welcome fans and collectors! Looking for more issues of CIRCUS and other vintage / 60's and 70's music magazines? Check out my other items ! PLEASE NOTE - the description of condition under 'item specifics' shown above is eBay's generic description for anything in the Books category, which I am now required to include. It is not specific to my item. For information on this item's condition, look for the paragraph headed "CONDITION" in the body of my description below. Circus Magazine was one of the most popular U.S. music magazines of the 60's and beyond. Earlier it had changed its name from "Hullabaloo" and carried on as a thoughtful, well-written publication with names like Danny Fields, Lenny Kaye and Tony Glover on the masthead. It was always fun to read and covered all the great groups of the era. This is the January, 1972 edition. PLEASE NOTE : This no longer includes the pullout rock calendar mentioned on the cover. So what's in this issue? The Doors - "Amputated But Alive". Doors fans will want this very rare article / interview with Ray, Robby and John upon the release of their "Other Voices" LP. They talk about the album, about Jim Morrison and more. Santana - rare feature article with great color photos - 5 pages! Traffic and The Karma Wheel - fine article about the past, present and future of this tremendous band
