FORSALE Citroen DS 23 Safari 1974 (Tax exempt) Rare RHD Estate Car Unfinished Restoration Project Needs body panels painting and re-assembling So the time has come to part with my beautiful DS 23 Safari. It's an unfinished project thats been taking up space in the workshop for far to long and needs to go to someone who may actually finish it. It's a beautiful car that was previously professionally restored in 1998 but by the time I bought it, it was suffering from a bit of sill and panel rust so I stripped it down, had the panels repaired and new sills fitted both sides and repainted the framework but then never got round to putting it back together. Mechanically the car is fine it starts and runs easily and the suspension pumps up as it should, However all the body panels and interior trim have been removed and stored safely. All nuts and bolts and small parts are labelled and bagged up and the car comes with all the parts necessary to finish including a boxful of new parts. It needs somebody to paint it and put it back together and then it will be an amazing car and incidentally an excellent investment.
