Civil War 1863 Atlas; Plate 42; Map of Harpers Ferry, VA. Map of Hagerstown, Funkstown, Williamsport and Falling Waters, MD. 1892 Plate 42" Map. This plate came from The Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. The Atlas was published between 1891 and 1895 and is the definitive source of Civil War information available. This Plate contains the following map(s). Plate XLII 1. Military Map of Harper's Ferry, Va. 2. Battle of Slaughter's Mountain 3. Sketch of the Field at Cold Harbor 4. Sketch of the Battle-Field of Cross Keys, Va. 5. Map of the Vicinity of Hagerstown, Funkstown, Williamsport, and Falling Waters, Md. US WAR RECORDS OFFICE 16 1/2 X 27 1892 . All maps are matted shrink-wrapped to fit 24" x 36" frame. All matboard, tape, mat board backer board and shrink-wrap are acid free. It will be shipped put between two pieces of foam board and wrapped. All of the maps are in lithographed color, primarily green, blue, and brown, with the Union Army positions in blue and Confederate positions shown in red. City views are sepia-tone lithographs. VERY GOOD CONDITION MEANS: Clean and bright, with crisp engraved lines. On sound paper with no imperfections in the image. Small tears or minor discoloration in the margin and centerfold only. Very good quality coloring. NOT A REPRODUCTION
