Nice clear ninth plate ambrotype of a Civil War Union Officer in a great patriotic case called "The Camp Scene" manufactured by Littlefield, Parsons and Company. The case has some minor chips on the top of the rear section and a small hairline crack at the clasp in the rear section. However these minor faults don't really detract from the overall appearance of the case in my opinion. The velvet and padding opposite the portrait is in great condition and the hinges and clasp are intact. Check, money order, or Paypal accepted. Shipping $5.25 in U.S. Optional insurance available.
