I have many other exceptional antiques, textiles and more in my store and in regular ebay auction! Thanks for taking a minute to check them out!! Check out my other items ! This outstanding, very rare item was an estate sale find. Textiles are my specialty, but sometimes I run across some remarkable things! Because photos are not my area of expertise, please e-me any questions if I leave out anything important. The front of the case has Constitution and the Laws carved into it. The wood both front and back are more of a black color than the brown shown. Look carefully at the details in the photos, you can see the cover has a union flag at the top, an eagle and scroll work. Absolutely amazing attention to detail! Inside is in mint condition as far as I can see. The gold detail around the photo is perfect! Hope you can see the flags on the top sides. On the bottom left is a drum, on the right a cannon and the banner in between has The Union Now And Forever carved into it. I noticed a tiny chip on the very top of the outside back of the case, you can see it in the first or second photo, very hard to notice. Inside the case you can see the Littlefield paperwork under the photo. In one photo it looks like t is wear on the glass over the photo but it's just my camera, the photo and glass are without any flaws. The case hinges are perfect
