This auction is for a pair of Men's Dark Brown (Chocolate Colored) Uniform I believe a Cotton Twill, but don't quote me on it. I am not a seamstress and am not familiar with all material types (they are a medium weight material of some sort) Pants / Trousers made specifically for CIVIL WAR / OLD WEST REENACTMENT ~ THEATRE COSTUME ~ They have buttons on the waistband (front and back) for suspenders, four (4) buttons on the fly, and a leather tie laced on back. These pants are hemmed and really have no room to lengthen. The buttons look like the ends on shotgun shells and say, "Spartan 12 GA Magnum". I purchased this item along with several other Civil War Period Costumes from a theatre group who was selling out. I used them as costumes for our local 4-H Horse Club Members and their families, to use so they could dress the part for parades and local "Old Wild West" themed events and reenactments. They are very authentic looking and we had numerous compliments. I haven't cleaned these, and may have some horse hair on them even though they have been stored in a closet. I will leave any professional cleaning needed up to the buyer, but they are in very good condition, with minimal wear. No rips or tears.
