Hello, you are bidding on an extremely Rare Civil War 8 Base Enfield Bullet. The 8 Base Bullets are very tough to find and are almost never encountered. This was dug in Chattanooga, Tennessee along with other Base Marked Bullets. The 8 is very easy to read (as seen in the photos). We dug L Base, L2 Base, P Base, 57 base and other numerical base bullets. This is one of the base marked bullets that is missing in many bullet collections. This was dug along the banks of the Tennessee River. The bullet pictured is the bullet you will receive. Please see my other Civil War Relics I have for sale on ebay.
