up for auction is a CIVIL WAR ERA SOLDIER'S SHEET DRUM CANTEEN AND CUP. The canteen was found at a local estate sale I'm not 100% sure its from the civil war but the item has you can see is very old. This canteen is a little smaller than the last one I sold but from the same collection. The canteen is steel drum style canteen with a tin can cup. The canteen has the cloth strap is tied in knots and showing alot age. The canteen measures 6 x 6 x 2 1/4 wide. This canteen is alot heavier metal than the other one I sold.
