An interesting pair of sharpshooter glasses and a case that appears to be leather. The glasses are clear in the center and obscure around the outside
of the glass lens. The temple pieces that go over the ears have the ring in the end w the user can tie a string to keep the glasses from being lost. I have no way
of knowing if the case originally came with the glasses but the glasses appear to be a perfect fit. The case measures about 6 3/4 by 1 5/8 inch.
Authenticity is guaranteed and a return is accepted if the buyer pays the freight both ways.

I bought the glasses and case in a grab box at the WesCowan auction last fall. From the auction site "Wes Cowan is founder and owner of Cowan's Auctions, Inc. in Cincinnati , Ohio .
An internationally recognized expert in Historic Americana, Wes stars in the PBS television series History Detectives and is a featured appraiser on Antiques Roadshow" .
