A nice hog bristle shaving brush with cotton twine binding and turned wood handle all in the classic style of the Civil War era (see; Gettysburg Visitors Center, Civil War Museum collection). All in nice original condition and as it came to us with it’s companion japanned tin soap dish sporting a good portion of it’s period lard shaving soap.
