I have for sale a 1863 photo album full of tin types and hard card photos. The album itself is in impressive condition. The binding is still very tight for a book 150 years old. The tooled leather victorian design on the front cover and back cover is still very crisp and clear. The spine of the album is has some small tooled design in the leather and the word album is still crisp and clear in gold lettering. There is some wear along the edges of the album and the corners are slightly bent, but when you consider that this album is 150 years old you have to admit it looks pretty good. The only thing that is missing is the latch to lock the album with. The front and back piece is there, but the latch itself is gone. The photo section is filled with 8 tin types and 5 ha rd card type photos. The subject matter is mostly children, but there are a few adult hard card photos towards the back. There was also 5 extra hard card phot os that were with the album when it came into my possession and I am selling them with the album as well. The 10 photo pages are in OK condition with some being pristine and others the face is pulled up and loose. There is only 2 pages that are missing part or most of the matting. Inside the front cover is the name Emma E Rawson, Friendship NY July 12 /63. Please look at my pictures close and if you have any further read more
