is a RARE researched ,Ohio civil war KIA veterans medal in excellent shape,With original ribbon. His name was Pvt William Beckwith, Co A 64 OVI. Beckwith enlisted in 9/61,He was at the battles of Shiloh,Corinth,Pennyville,Stones River,Chickamaqua mission ridge. He mustard out in 12/31/63,Than Re-enlisted as Vet,Vol,Promo Cpl,Atlanta Campaign,Killed in Action,Rocky Face Ridge (Dayton) 5/8/64.He was charging up the hill when a Bullet hit him in the head and killed him instantly.
