Philadelphia Enquirer February 25, 1865 edition highlighting General Sherman's march from Atlanta to Richmond. The map shows railways, rivers and locations of Atlanta, Milledgville, Savannah, Augusta, Columbia, Winnsboro, Cambden Charlotte, Wilmington, Raleigh, Danville, Weldon, and Richmond.It goes on to announce the capture of Wilmington on Feb 22, Washington's birthday. Southern news is included, in particular Lee's call for colored troops. T are news dispatches from Petersburg, VA, and Richmond, VA. This paper is in excellent condition with no tears or foxing. A definite collectors item.
