This is an original Civil War regulation issue Union Army cartridge cap box. There is stable surface crazing in the leather flap, but the leather is otherwise very supple and pliable. The brass closure stud is solid and the closure strap is completely intact. The belt loops are firmly riveted and sturdy. It is complete with its wool insert and wire vent pick. There are no tears in the seams. I could find no makers marks. Shipping via insured U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. I ACCEPT BIDS FROM U.S. BIDDERS ONLY .
