Each year, prints of the original are made and sold exclusively through WVPT to support the broadcast of culturally enriching programs and series on WVPT. Known as "The People's Artist," P. Buckley Moss is a patron of the arts and is a champion for children with learning disabilities. "The Blue and The Gray" pays homage to The Sesquicentennial anniversary of the Civil War. It also pays tribute to the Shenandoah Valley and the vital role it played during the dark years of the Civil War.
