Smith & Wesson Model 1 Second issue, 7 shot 22 Ca.RF, Tilt-up, 3-3/16" Barrel, SA, and Rosewood Grips Revolver. Iron Barrel and cylinder, Silver Plated Brass Frame made by S&W from 1860-1868. Serial Number 43XXX barrel, cylinder, and frame match marked. To load the barrel is unlocked and tilt-up, cylinder is removed loaded and replaced barrel swing down and locked. The rod in front of cylinder is used to eject spent shells from cylinder before reloading. Included are a Smith & Wesson Letter and a new wooden presentation case. The Letter states when the revolver was shipped (March 11, 1864) and who purchase it. The Presentation case is solid wood with brass plated Hdw., lock latch (Key included), interior lined with Red Wine colored foam. Buyer pay shipping and handling cost and item shipped by UPS Ground after funds have been received. Handgun sold as a non-firing Antique Gun (pre/1899 gun no FFL required). Buyer to furish seller a photo copy of their Driver license as proof of age(21 or over).
