Being offered is a Civil War Sabre Made by Sheble & Fisher, Phila, in excellent condition.(See pictures) When I bought the sabre it had a tag which said, "Richard Bezdek American Swords & Sword Makers, see page 620. I do not have Bezdek's book, so I've never seen what is on pg. 620. There are great decorations on the handle & knuckle guard.(See pictures) The sabre has overall length of 34", blade is 28", still in excellent condition. It has the Sheble & Fisher Mark, & on the other side is the Number 9.(See pictures) I've seen several of the S & F sabres, but none like this one, so I believe it is quite rare. I'm sure the collectors out there will know what it is. PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING CHARGES INCLUDE INSURANCE COSTS.
