An original Civil War Soldierâe(tm)s Photograph Album. Columbus , Ohio , June 20 th , 1865. The album contains two photo engravings of Abraham Lincoln, one of his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, and one of General William Tecumseh Sherman. (This album came from the estate of the descendents of the soldier and was part of the soldierâe(tm)s collection of personal items.) The album measures 3 ¼âe x 4 ¾âe, and contains the 4 above-mentioned photo engravings; 7 albumen photographs and 2 tintypes of the soldierâe(tm)s family. Photos are in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Also contains a printed Valentine from a soldier to his beloved. Written on the last page of the album in period ink is âeoe Columbus , Ohio . June 20 th , 1865âe.
