Rare Civil War Soldier's Photo Album 109th Pennsylvania ? Lecanon / Wilkesbarre, PA area 1860s For offer, a rare American Civil War portrait photo album! Fresh from an old prominent estate in Lebanon PA. Vintage, Old, Original - NOT a Reproduction - Guaranteed !! Please see the button of the 109th I have listed. It came from the same estate as this album. 18 photos - CDV ( Carte de visite - visiting card ) and tintype. 2 Civil War soldiers in the album. One holding his kepi hat. Looks like t us an "A" on it, for Company A? Both men look like officers. Photographer's backmarks are from Wilkes Barre, PA (Condit & Collamer ; W.H. Ward ), Tunkhannock, PA ( L.W. Hermans ), Oberlin, Ohio and a couple others. T are chiefly two Family names in the album - Adams and Elston. Names written in manuscript pencil written below some photos. Isaac Elston, Levi Elston, Amy Elston - Isaac's wife, Nate Adams, Mary Adams, Tillis Fuller Hunt. The two photos in front are of the same child - one as a baby, and one a couple years later. Identified on back. One photo has a revenue stamp on back. Album is in fairly good condition. Still bound together, but outer spine is mostly off. Interior pages have rips, as shown below.
