CLAMP Clover Manga Comic Book English Suu Cosplay Vol 1 See the gorgeous results of CLAMP's attempt at Steam Punk for yourself! Clover is the intriguing story of government corruption, a search for happiness, and wishes that can never be fulfilled. It's visual poetry. If you're a fan of CLAMP's works, you need this series. I think Suu is one of the most beautiful CLAMP heroines of all time. Each book is softcover with beautiful graphics on the front and part of the poem/story on the back. The dust jacket is made of vellum (a type of heavy translucent paper) with pearlescent green designs printed on it to complement the underlying graphics. The inside flaps of the dust jacket have the theme song for the story printed on the front in English and on the back in Japanese. T is a two-page color illustration printed on heavy, glossy paper at the beginning and end of each volume. It's collector's edition-sized at 8.5"x6". This is an extremely rare first printing of volume 1 by Tokyopop's "Chix Comix", printed in 2001. Later editions were printed under the Tokyopop label, as they'd done away with their Mixx Manga and Chix Comix divisions. The spine of this one has the Chix Comix logo on it. In very nice condition with some minor shelfwear and a small bend in the inside flap of the back part of the dust jacket. Click pictures for high res
