I am selling this Clansman 319 SAS Radio EMU in untested condition as I don't have the equipment or ability how ever when turned on the display image can be seen in the pictures. The unit looks to be in good used condition with no signs of damage.The PRC319 is a British HF manpack transceiver designed by MEL (a spin off of the Clansman family). Recently they have become available on the civilian market and are proving to be very popular with all types of radio users. These radios were used by the SAS this is a well documented fact. The PRC319 is an all solid state, 1.5 MHz to 40 MHz, Transceiver w/external automatic antenna tuner. Power levels are selectable at 5W or 50W; Modes are CW, SSB (USB only - The USB mode uses 'The Third Method' to generate single sideband, The Third Method puts the attenuated and unwanted sideband products in the main USB channel. Frequency stability is +/- 5 Hz at 10 MHz, NTIA Approved. The CW mode has a narrow receive filter.The radio is sealed and can withstand immersion in 6 feet of water (I have not tried this).It has a 10 channel receive and 10 channel transmit memory for fixed frequency operation.
