This rare beautiful figurine entitled " The Pin Seller" was designed by Clarice Cliff along with "The Orange Seller" in 1923 for the Wembley Empire Exhibition in 1924. In superb condition with no chips cracks or repairs.Beautifully hand painted it stands just over 9" tall.Has the verse"Pretty Maids Pretty Pins Pretty Women. Three Rows A Penny Pins" in relief on the front of the base.Has Clarice Cliff name in relief on the rear of the base.Also has the Wilkinson backstamp on the under base. A beautiful rare piece of Clarice Cliff pottery not to miss.
