Clarice Cliff Staffordshire Purple Mulberry Tureen Bowl
Clarice Cliff Staffordshire Purple Mulberry Tureen Bowl
Sold For:
is a purple or mulberry covered serving dish or tureen in the Royal Staffordshire "Tonquin" pattern designed by Clarisse Cliff. I believe this to be from the 40's. This tureen is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. T is however just a bit of crazing, which does not however detract from the beauty of the piece. The dish measures 8 3/4" from outer rim to rim [not counting the handles], and 2 1/4" tall, [not counting the lid]. is a gorgeous piece of purple transferware that would do any collection proud. T is no reserve on this auction. Need 4 bread plates in this pattern to go with? Then please check out my other auction. Lucky bidder to prepay plus postage. Thanks for viewing.
The lighting for my photo's made the tureen appear more red than purple. Be assured it is purple and not red. View Similar Items
