Clark Gable Original personal check of Clark Gable dated and signed May 10, 1950. (Approx. 3 x 8) Beautifully color matted with a lovely glossy photograph from GONE WITH THE WIND. Check can easily be removed from mat. Overall size is 11 x 14. Comes in a clear protective sleeve. I have been an autograph collector for nearly fifty five years and have accumulated thousands of signed pictures and autographs. Through the years of collecting and studying autographs, I feel quite confident that I can judge an authentic autograph from a "fake" (reprint, reproduction, secretarial or facsimile). In my opinion, at least seventy five percent of autographs listed on Ebay are "fakes" making it difficult for the average collector to distinguish which are authentic. Some sellers use the words "hand signed" but the question is by whose hand? All of the items I offer for sale are from my personal collection and have passed the test of time and knowledge. I will never knowingly sell anything I feel is not absolutely authentic.
