This is a super unique vintage Clark Oil gas station attendant bomber-style hat. I do not know the exact age, but I believe it is from the late 1960's or early 1970's. I have seen hats like this in pictures from that era. This hat is used. It is clean and in decent shape. The only defect that I can see is that if you look at the picture showing the view looking at the top of the hat, you can see that about 1" of stitching needs to resewn on the left side of the front brim of the hat. The brim has separated about an inch and can be fixed. This hat is an original. The front brim has a snap that keeps it in the "up" position. The snap is located behind the Clark Oil logo on the front. As you can see from the photos, the hat side flaps can be worn down in inclement weather or snapped on top of the hat during nicer weather. In our area we call this a "bomber" hat. I can not honestly tell if the material is leather or plastic/vinyl and the tag inside the hat is unreadable. The "shiney" part of the hat is Navy Blue and the "fur" part is Black. I do not know the size of the hat but it does not seem very big. This item is being sold as a display item. If you want to wear it as a hat, that is fine but I am selling it as a petroleum collectible item. It is old and while it is in good shape, I have no idea how long it would hold up under constant read more
