RARE CLASSIC WORKING BLACK WESTERN ELECTRIC 500 ROTARY PHONE WITH METAL FINGER WHEEL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FEATURES: Very shiny black case! Nice, heavy bakelite handset Original 7D-3 dial with metal gears produces that distinct rotary sound that only metal gears can produce! Nice metal fingerwheel with reproduction number card TESTED and ready to plug in! Dials out, receives calls, and those brass bells ring like new! Case is in good condition- no cracks, chips, or deep scratches. Shines like new! Only surface scuffs that are only noticable in bright light. Handset cord is hard wired and in excellent condition Line cord has been replaced with a hard wired grey heavy duty cord with a modular plug on the end. Ready to plug in and use today! This is a very heavy original Western Electric model 500, dates to 1950s. It is much heavier and built better than the later ITTs, AT&Ts, etc that you see on Ebay BEWARE of all those auctions that say "as found" or "said to work" or "can't test it because I don't have that kind of plug" THIS PHONE is tested, and has a modern plug and dials out and rings!
