1963 CLASSIC WORKING SHINY BLACK WESTERN ELECTRIC 554 ROTARY WALL PHONE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!
FEATURES: Very shiny black! Nice metal dial Original 7C dial with metal gears produces that distinct rotary sound that only metal gears can produce! TESTED and ready to plug in! Dials out, receives calls, and those brass bells ring like new! Case is in excellent condition- no cracks, chips, or scratches. Shines like new! just a couple minor scuffs and light scratches mainly noticable in bright light. Handset cord is hard wired and in excellent condition. Ready to plug in with the hard wired line cord with modular plug, or you can hard wire it to the wall phone outlet (that's how I did mine). Or for $10 extra I can install a Bell Systems modular wall plate that connects to your wall phone outlet, just let me know at checkout. This is a very heavy original Western Electric model 554, dates to 1963. BEWARE of all those auctions that say "as found" or "said to work" or "can't test it because I don't have that kind of plug" THIS PHONE is tested, and has a modern plug and dials out and rings! These old classic telephones have become very popular recently, and are becoming hard to find in this condition.
