Rare High End Toshiba Retro 1970's 8 track Tape + AM/ FM Recorder System You are bidding on a high end vintage 8 track player recorder, By Toshiba Model SMC 4 700 , one of the best 8 track Player /receivers recorders of the era having the best of the formats that were available . Says on the back 70 watts which is more powerful then most of this generation. Comes with original owners manual. This dates from the early 70s era and a unit like this rarely comes on the market . The item is in excellent working and cosmetic condition and plays and records 8 tracks with a crisp vibrant high fidelity sound. The wood frame is beautiful and has a chrome face and knobs brings you back in time when set up and played. When you turn the knobs you can feel the quality of the workmanship. The unit works great as pictured and the glow of the lights at night is fantastic . Features a program selector and Has an 8 track , phono, Fm , am controls Also has balance, volume , bass treble, treble slide rule controls. Has left/right speaker jacks in the back , Phono jacks and aux jacks in the back which you could hook up a tape player or CD if desired.
