Up for auction is a "RARE" Fight'n Rooster "PRE 1982" 2 Piece Doctor's/Physician's Knife Set in near mint condition. The first knife features beautiful, fiery mother of pearl handles, nickel silver bolsters, pins, and brass liners, and has the spear point blade with long pull, and the "GOLD" Physician's knife, and the fight'n cocks engraving. The second knife is the 2 blade, with genuine stag handles, nickel silver bolsters, heraldic shield, pins, and brass liners. It has the large spear point, and pen blades, both with the long pull, and the "GOLD" Physician's Knife, and fight'n cocks main blade engraving. Both knives have the number "188" near the tang on the front of the main blades. Both knives are 3 5/8" closed, and have the nickel silver flat pill crusher bottom. Tang stamps are (front main) Two Fighting Cocks, and Solingen. (rear main) is stamped, FRANK BUSTER CUT Co. GERMANY, and the pen blade on the stag knife is stamped with the two fighting cocks, and Solingen. Comes complete with the original, walnut, blue lined display case, with the Fight'n Rooster, Frank Buster Cutlery Co., gold patch.
