Up for auction is this beautifully restoredLionel Standard Gauge 511 Flat Car in true shiny tinplate Classic Period colors. All trim parts have burnished back to their original luster. The lumber load is hand made of oak strips, and gives the car a heavier feel than the usual pine slab load. Match this up to some other Standard Gauge restored freights I’m selling – I’d be glad to combine shipping. Also of interest is an early dark gray #10 Loco to pull these freights down the track. Oh, and by-the-way – shipping is only $8.00 for each car, which is about what others charge to ship a plastic N-Gauge freight car that weighs a ¼ of an ounce. Why bother with scratched, dented and beat-up cars when you can have these restored beauties, at prices that folks pay for beat-up originals. All the work is done for you, sit back and let them roll!
