FOR AUCTION : Vintage TestorsMcCoy 35 Red Head Control Line/ Stunt/Free Flight engine in like new condition with copied 2 sided instruction sheet. Also included is a short information sheet written by me to help you get this very nice engine running. This engine was probably manufactured around 1958-1960 as it has a centered glow plug, a brass ratchet for the needle valve a recessed exhaust stack web and flats on carb. It comes complete with a genuine Gold Testors glow plug with blue ceramic insulation. This particular engine would make a good collectable as well as a nostalgic C/L Stunt runner very capable of easily turning a 10” prop. to pull a Sterling Ringmaster or similar plane around with ease. This engine appears to have been run very little as it has excellent compression, turns freely and has no perceivable crankshaft wear. It also appears from the looks of the undamaged screws to have never been taken apart until I replaced the dried out gaskets for the head, cylinder sleeve and back plate. The nylon crankpin insert is the original and shows very little wear. The new gaskets came from MACOA. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this engine a solid 9 as far as overall condition and appearance goes. After replacing the gaskets, I ran the engine for a short period of time with 20% castor oil and 10% Nitro. fuel.
