I have decided to sell what is left of my extensive Classic Pooh Collection that I started in 1987--long before "classic pooh" was EVERYW! I worked hard to build my collection for over 10 years, at which point I stopped, because the "thrill of the hunt" was simply gone. Many of my items took months to seek out, having been located in quaint little shops and gift boutiques. The quality and attention to detail in the older items is greatly apparent, especially when compared to some of the dime-store things found for sale today. Be sure to check back for my other auctions--it's all on the block for bidding!! ITEM DESCRIPTION This auction features a Ceramic Classic Pooh "Double Photo" picture frame by the Charpente Company. The box label gives it the name "Honey Cupboard". Fittingly, the frame looks like a huge hunny cupboard with the open doors acting as photo holders. The base of the frame is the "wood floor" of the room. You can even see the knot-holes in the chocolate colored wood. The shelves of the cupboard hold assorted honey pots, of which Pooh is trying despartely to reach. He is standing on top of a chair, reaching up on his tip toes--too cute. THIS ITEM IS IN PERFECT CONDITION !! THIS ITEM HAS NEVER BEEN USED, other than for static display in my home. It still has the "pictures" in the frame of Pooh himself. Each photo is a depiction of Pooh's head stuck in a honey jar. It will arrive in it's original packaging: plastic bag for protection, custom foam inserts, and original box!!! The item dimensions: At the tallest point (top of the cupboard) the frame is about 6.5" high, at it's widest, the frame is 10" across The photo frames hold 2.5"x3.5" pictures The item has an all felt bottom and back The photo slots are the swing open door type (not slide in), with the teardrop shaped metal mechanism that holds the door secure ALWAYS A SMOKE FREE HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
