RARE CLASSIC WORKING YELLOW WESTERN ELECTRIC 500 ROTARY PHONE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FEATURES: Dates to 1957, updated in the 1970s Black base with leather feet is very clean and in excellent condition TESTED and ready to plug in! Dials out, receives calls, and those brass bells ring like new! Case is in excellent condition- no cracks, chips, or deep scratches. Shines like new! Only light surface scuffs that are only noticable in upon close inspection bright light. Handset cord is hard wired and in excellent condition Line cord has been replaced with a hard wired grey heavy duty cord with a modular plug on the end. Ready to plug in and use today! This is a very heavy original Western Electric model 500, dates to 19575, updated in the 1970s. It is much heavier and built better than the later ITTs, AT&Ts, etc that you see on Ebay BEWARE of all those auctions that say "as found" or "said to work" or "can't test it because I don't have that kind of plug" THIS PHONE is tested, and has a modern plug and dials out and rings!
