Clay Tempered Fully Hand Forged Katana "THE NINJA DRAGON" A Budo Sword With A Distinct & Bright Real Notare Hamon This is a custom made, fully hand forged Clay Tempered 1095 High Carbon Steel Tameshigiri Quality "Cutter" with full traditional polish and a spectacular looking natural Notare Hamon . This Katana's 14" long Tsuka (handle) provides a superior weight balance ratio to offset the 28.5" blade , resulting in a very quick sword that is highly manueverable. The Tsuka ito (handle wrap) over real Samegawa (rayskin), as well as the Sageo cord of the Ronin knot are all of the highest quality materials available today. Traditionally hand-sharpened, the Dragon's cutting edge blade is surgically sharp for exacting and clean Tameshigiri cuts. The Dragon is a full tang double pegged sword of the highest Bujinken caliber and can be disassembled for maintenance. The throat and end cap of saya (sword sheath) are made of Black Buffalo Horn . The Tsuba (hand guard) is a unique ninpo taijutsu square "Ninja" design Tsuba depicting an enraged Dragon. A full sword maintenance kit, sword bag and attractive Dragon design double latched gift box is included.
