This is one of a large number of arrowheads and artifacts that I will be selling in the next few weeks from my collection. This obsidian blade was found at Clear Lake, Lake County California. It was found when the lake receded during a drought in the 80's, and the obsidian surface has been dulled by the immersion. The blade is 2 1/4" long,is very well flaked, and the base is snapped off. It appears to have been thinned (slight notching) near the base, so it may have been a hafted blade or perhaps a projectile point. Sold with no reserve.
