This is orca whale fetish that Zuni fetish carver, Calvert Bowannie carved out of black marble. Calvert added white mother of pearl cabochon sections on the throat and sides of the whale's head. He carved the whale with his tail held high, and the whale has a blow hole. The fetish is 2 1/8" long, 1" tall and 1 1/4" wide. Calvert has signed his hallmark on the bottom of the whale.
