From CarrotTopStudio... Ordinary Time Stole The simple stole is crafted from magnificent fabric! It is green for you to use during many seasons of the church year, but has many fleks of different colors in it so you will never grow tire of it. The triquetra symbol is formed by three intersecting and interwoven arcs. It is an ancient symbol that is seen in some of the earliest paintings of Jesus and the Evangelists and on stone crosses found in Greta Britian dating from its early days of Christianity. The nature of the Trinity is shown in this symbol: the equality of three persons. The stole front is crafted from a forest green poly silk blend that has been embossed and textured with fleks of other colors of silk. The fabric has a bit of a sheen to it the way a brocade does. The symbol is appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The stole is embellished with a braided antique gold colored braid. It is lined with a solid green cotton broadcloth fabric. Stole is 49" long measuring from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. We will confirm which length you prefer prior to shipping. It measures 4 1/2" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 1/2" at the neck.
