Fishwick was born in Accrington in 1923. He attended Liverpool School of Art and was Principal at Exeter College of Art. He was a member of Newlyn and exhibited at the Penwith Society, having a solo show in 1983. His work has been recognised as significant since his solo exhibition at Austin Desmond in the 1950s and at Brution Street Gallery. many public galleries hold his work. His style developed throughout his life taking on influences such as the Neo Romantics, the Cornish School and the second School of Paris such as de Stael. He died in 1997. Original ink and watercolour, signed and dated '53'. Framed and ready to hang. Image measures 12" x 9".
