I am offering for sale a Clinchfield Artware Pottery, (also known as) Cash Family Pottery of Erwin, Tennessee (1945 to 1988), Tall Twisted Vase with Hand Painted Violets in Absolute Pristine Mint Condition. This is just a fabulous Cash Family vase and I believe this one is considered a hard one to find. The condition is unblievable as well. This vase has no chips or cracks and t is no glaze crazing either which is not always easy to find with Clinchfield Artware items. Of course no glaze crazing also means no staining and to be honest, I don't think this vase was ever used other than to admire it. This vase looks as if the Cash Family made it today. It is clean as a whistle and the hand painted violets are absolutely gorgeous. I don't want to knock the Cash family in anyway, but they had a product to sell to the tourists and gift shops and I doubt they ever imagined their wares would ever become collectibles. The reason I mention this is because they put out a lot of pottery and in some cases you can easily see the talent of one artist was clearly better than some of the other artists. The Cash Family Pottery started in 1945 and their were several small potteries similar to theirs and one large pottery was also in Erwin.
